Oberon Primary School is situated in Belmont, a vibrant suburb of Geelong. We have 230 students and continue to secure increasing enrolments. Our school has a strong community focused culture where staff, students and parents work diligently as a team to deliver worthwhile and robust educational programs. We are committed to continuous refinement and development of our teaching practices, which is reflected in our student learning opportunities and experiences at every level across the school.
Our educational programs cater for the individual needs of the child and provide a broad based, comprehensive curriculum. We are concerned with the development of the attitudes, skills and knowledge that students need to cope efficiently with the demands of living in our complex and changing society.
OUR OBERON GARDENS
Check out the video below, made by our resident green thumb, Mr. Grozdanovski, and his grade 3/4 students!
We have several gardens around the school, and the students love getting involved in all stages of maintaining these wonderful spaces throughout the year.
We acknowledge the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin nations, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are gathered today. We pay our respects to the local people for allowing us to have our gathering on their land and to their Elders: past, present and future.
